About me
I completed a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at the University of Maine, USA, where I also played collegiate hockey. After that, I pursued a 2-year Master’s degree focused on Rehabilitation Science. I have continued to dedicate myself to hockey at a professional level, and I am proud to be a member of the Czech National Team. During my career, I earned a bronze medal at the World Championship and represented the Czech Republic at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Thanks to my career, I bring many years of first-hand experience as a professional athlete.
My interest in nutrition and healthy living deepened when I struggled with my own health issues caused by poor-quality food during my time at university in the US, about 10 years ago. I have always been fascinated by the idea of nutrition as a form of prevention against chronic diseases, which led me to further study holistic nutrition and functional medicine.
I first obtained a Holistic Nutritionist certification at the American AFPA Institute, and later studied at the Institute of Functional Medicine and Nutrition in Prague, where I completed the MŠMT-accredited Nutrition Consultant program with an extension in functional medicine. I also attended numerous seminars and webinars on sports nutrition, blood tests, supplementation, and women’s menstrual health.

What Is Holistic Nutrition & Functional Medicine?
Holistic Nutrition takes a whole-person approach, recognizing that food impacts not only physical health but also mental well-being, energy, and overall balance. The focus is on individual needs, and food quality always comes first. Functional Medicine views the body as an interconnected system, where genetics, environment, lifestyle, and stress all play a role. It aims to uncover the root causes of health imbalances instead of just suppressing symptoms. Prevention through nutrition and lifestyle is key.

What to expect from our work together?
Before the first consultation, you’ll fill out an intake questionnaire about your lifestyle, eating habits, and health concerns. First consultation (60–75 min): We’ll map out your goals and create an action plan. Follow-ups: Support and adjustments to keep you on track. Consultations take place online via video call – from the comfort of your home, but we can also meet in person if logistically possible. My approach is not about strict diets or restrictions, but about creating a sustainable healthy lifestyle that works for you in the long-term.
